The precandiadte explained to members the key lines of his mandate, appealing to institutional stability, economic consolidation, the completion of the Espai Barça and sporting ambition as the axes of the new mandate
Joan Laporta and the members of his precandidacy have met with members from different Catalan towns to explain the “Defensem el Barça” precandidacy and, above all, to be able to be close to him and collect points of view and opinions about the future of the entity.
Joan Laporta was first seen with members at Les Cases d’Alcanar, at the Les Barques de Can Joan Restaurant, in a pleasant and very relaxed atmosphere. At the end, the delegation travelled to Tortosa, specifically to the Chamber of Commerce, where it participated in an event with an institutional presence to explain the candidacy it leads and, subsequently, attend to the members in a space of greater proximity. After Tortosa, the president and the rest of the members of the precandidacy travelled to Tarragona, to the Hotel AC, where they explained again the most important points of the candidacy. Finally, as in Tortosa, they have been able to share and take photographs with the attending members.
“Defensem el Barça” to continue the mandate that began in 2021
The precandidacy led by Joan Laporta for the FC Barcelona elections “Defensem el Barça” aims to give continuity and consolidate the mandate that began in 2021 and culminate the economic, institutional and sporting recovery of the Club. The precandidacy asked members to sign to finish the Espai Barça project, with the new Spotify Camp Nou as the centerpiece, consolidate a modern and high-level governance model that is admired around the world, continue consolidating the economic recovery through a strategy of financial discipline, maintain sporting ambition in all sections through a single model, to continue guaranteeing the ownership model of the Club in the hands of FC Barcelona members and to shield the essences of the institution linked to Catalan identity, democracy, freedom and social commitment.
