Joan Laporta: “Leaving Barça in the hands of Víctor Font would be reckless”

In a recent interview with El Nacional, Joan Laporta, candidate for re-election as president of FC Barcelona, criticized his electoral rival Víctor Font, warning about the risks that, according to him, a change in the club’s leadership could bring.

Laporta stated that leaving Barça in Font’s hands would be “reckless” and claimed that his project could once again lead the club into a complicated economic situation. The president defended that the current management model has helped stabilize the institution after several very difficult years and insisted that it is necessary to continue working along the same lines.

During the interview, Laporta also highlighted the work done during his time in charge of the club and stressed that Barça has regained institutional stability and a stronger economic foundation. According to the candidate, his project aims to consolidate this recovery and guarantee a competitive future for the club.

At “Defensem el Barça” we value Joan Laporta’s remarks, which reinforce the commitment to a solid project and the determination to continue working to protect the club’s model and secure the future of FC Barcelona.
