Both events took place at the<strong> Municipal Theatre l\u2019Ateneu.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting with members and the subsequent conversation with Carab\u00e9n, Joan Laporta explained in detail what \u201cDefensem el Bar\u00e7a\u201d means, the candidacy he leads and which aims to continue and consolidate the mandate that began in 2021 and complete the Club\u2019s economic, institutional and sporting recovery. Laporta asked members for their vote ahead of<strong> March 15 <\/strong>in order to continue building one of the best cycles in the Club\u2019s history and, specifically, to complete the Espai Bar\u00e7a project,<strong> with the new Spotify Camp Nou as its central piece<\/strong>; to continue consolidating the economic recovery through a strategy of financial discipline; to maintain sporting ambition in all sections through a unique model; and to keep <strong>guaranteeing the Club\u2019s ownership model in the hands of FC Barcelona members.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In electoral terms, Joan Laporta assessed his proclamation as a candidate by the Electoral Board after the validation process of the submitted signatures was completed, as well as the start of the electoral campaign beginning tomorrow, March 6. Laporta explained that he <strong>\u201crespects all candidacies,\u201d<\/strong> but criticized the <strong>\u201cattempts to destabilize the Club\u201d<\/strong> surrounding the electoral process.
